House Flavour: Batch 050

Fifty of these. The house is feeling it.

Half a century of pulling things off the wall, spreading them across the counter and asking what they mean together. The pile this week felt appropriate for the occasion. Not curated to mark the milestone, just honest, which is the only way we know how to do this.

YOU ARE ENOUGH. This stopped everyone who walked past it this week. The house has been in a reflective mood and that image arrived at exactly the right moment, a vibe that doesn’t need any context to land.

The World Cup is in its final sprint and the football has been bleeding into everything, you’ve probably seen by now, the way it always does when the stakes get high enough. The tournament has been a constant presence in the house since June and this week feels like the real business end of the flavour of it, which is its own kind of taste depending on what country you’re in and watch from.

A studio wall covered in tools and objects and small decisions. A Paris Showroom drawn in white on black. Open Objects, New York City, 2021 on orange. The house has been thinking about spaces this week, what a room says about the people who work in it, what gets pinned up and what gets taken down.

A spilled coffee cup on a New Balance receipt. Unplanned, completely right. S**t happens.

Fifty batches in and the house is still finding things worth sharing.

A full shot of the good stuff always. This one hits different.

Shot of the good stuff.
