You don’t know me. Except this week, we did.
That poster went up and the room immediately argued with it. Because this week felt like the opposite of its premise. More familiar faces than the house has ever seen in a single stretch. Regulars who’ve quietly become part of how this place works, and new ones who walked in already feeling like they belonged. We’re still not entirely sure what shifted. Consistency, maybe. Or something about the atmosphere that’s harder to name.
What we noticed, though, across every conversation, every exchange, every introduction, is that the people finding their way here share something. Not a background or an industry. A posture. An openness to not already having the answer. A willingness to sit with a question longer than is comfortable and see what it produces. Curiosity, in the truest sense of the word, not as a personality trait but as a practice.
The house has always believed that the right room attracts the right people, not through curation but through honesty. You build something with a point of view, hold it consistently, and eventually the people who needed that specific thing find it.
This week felt like evidence of that working.
The pile arrived in that spirit. Generous, considered, unhurried. Things that reward the kind of attention our regulars bring through the door.
If you know, you know. And this week, we knew.
A warm shot of the good stuff, full house, good company. Gianluigi approved.
