The house has been quieter this week at the counter. Not empty just concentrated. That’s the thing when you never turn off. You’ve got to keep showing up. We’ve been working on new processes to create the best flavour possible. The kind of atmosphere that builds when everyone’s working on something they can’t fully talk about yet.

W1J 9HL on black. A postcode as a statement. Mehnert Lab, Susann Nürnberger, Eike König stacked with the same logic as a load-bearing wall. These aren’t decorative choices, they’re structural ones, and the house has been speaking that language all week.

There’s a world of creative work that looks like chaos from the outside and runs on invisible architecture from the inside. What holds it together is a decision about how things should be organised before anyone sees them. The house has been making those kinds of decisions too. Small things but significant.
